Underwater Museum of Art – MUSA Diving Tour

Discover the world’s most iconic underwater museum — only in Cancun

The MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) is one of the most unique dive sites on Earth, featuring over 500 life-sized sculptures submerged between 30 to 40 ft (9 to 12 meters) in the warm waters of the Mexican Caribbean. This site is perfect for Open Water divers, newly certified divers, or even those getting back in the water after a break.

Created to promote coral growth and relieve pressure from natural reefs, MUSA is a magical fusion of marine conservation, contemporary art, and underwater adventure.

What Makes MUSA So Special?

  • Sculptures like The Silent Evolution, Dream Collector, The Anthropocene, and more are distributed across sandy patches and coral gardens.
  • Over time, each sculpture becomes a living reef — covered in sponges, corals, and home to colorful marine life.
  • Visibility is often 80–100 ft, with calm, easy diving conditions — ideal for beginners or photographers.
  • Located between Cancun’s Hotel Zone and Isla Mujeres, it’s accessible in a short 15–20 minute boat ride from our dive shop . We are the closer one to the dive sites.
  • The experience is peaceful, artistic, and surreal — a must-do for anyone visiting Cancun.
