Welcome to our site

Dos Ojos means “Two Eyes” in Spanish, named after the two interconnected sinkholes that make up the cenote. With crystal-clear water and cinematic sunbeams, it’s a paradise for divers and underwater photographers alike. This site is ideal for divers looking to experience the magic of caverns — overhead environments with surreal stalactites, mirror-like surfaces, and light-filled tunnels.

  • Barbie Line: The more open and illuminated of the two routes, this dive line offers easy navigation, dreamlike scenery, and incredible opportunities for photography. However, good buoyancy control is essential, as the environment is delicate and visibility can be affected by improper finning.
  • Bat Cave Line: This dive takes you into the darker, more mysterious areas of Dos Ojos, where you’ll surface inside a dramatic air dome filled with hanging bats. It’s an immersive experience through narrow passageways, with low light and high contrast that makes it unforgettable.

Both dives are led by experienced cavern-certified guides who will brief you thoroughly on the lines, safety protocols, and conservation rules.

Maximum depth is around 30 ft (10 m), making them suitable for all certified levels.

Not in Dos Ojos. This cenote is freshwater only, without the saltwater layer you might find in others.

It’s best for divers with at least 10 logged dives and good control. Cavern environments require awareness and comfort in enclosed spaces.

If tight spaces make you uncomfortable, this dive might not be ideal. While it’s not a cave dive, it does involve overhead environments.

Dos Ojos is also popular for snorkeling, but this tour is diving-only.
