Itinerary Day One Learn underwater skills at the beach and theory in the A/C office. Then in the afternoon, go on two nice shallow reef dives. This can include the Underwater Museum or two shallow reef dives in Cancun or Isla Mujeres. Bring cash for lunch at the restaurant, or ask for a box lunch at your hotel. All the theoretical and practical part is very easy with our qualified diving instructors with years of experience. On the first day, besides practicing on the beach, we will take you to do two shallow dives in the ocean . Itinerary Day Two If your instructor thinks you’re prepared, we go on two deeper dives out of the bay. We can dive at the Cancun National Marine Park reefs, at depths around 55 feet. If your instruction thinks you need additional practice, we can go on shallow dives in the afternoon. Back at the marina, you have time with your instructor to practice anything you need, you will use the dive tables and take the final test. The final exam will be easy after spending time with your instructor, who is with you all day to ensure you get the most out of your dives. Join us on an advanced dive! Cenote Dreamgate Dive with thousend of stalactites and breathtaking columns at the spectacular Cenote Dreamgate. This was a filming location for the amazing series “Caves” episode of the BBC Planet Earth documentary series. This cenote has a very large cavern zone. It is one of the most highly decorated in the area, with an abundance of formations. We take this dive very slowly so we can fully appreciate this unique places. There is an air dome in the center of the cavern zone that is sure to amaze you. The cenote has two different cavern lines — one is downstream and the other is upstream. Great diving skills are a requirement to go on this dive, particularly excellent buoyancy control, as the formations in Dreamgate are very fragile. We ask our divers to please stay close to the line and to our cave diving guide. We need to stay at a safe distance to avoid any damage to this amazing natural wonder.
