Cenote Dive Experience – The Pit & Dos Ojos (3 Tank Dive)

Discover Three of the Most Iconic Cenote Dives in a Single Day

This premium three-tank cenote diving tour takes you to explore the otherworldly beauty of The Pit and the majestic cavern system of Dos Ojos. These are two of the most famous and spectacular cenotes in the entire Riviera Maya, perfect for certified divers seeking a deep, surreal, and light-filled freshwater experience like no other.

Why These Cenotes Are So Special

The Pit is the deepest cenote dive in the region, reaching depths of over 100 ft. Here you’ll descend into a cathedral of light where sunbeams cut through the water, illuminating the hydrogen sulfide cloud at around 90 ft. This dive is visually spectacular and spiritually moving, known for its crystal-clear water, halocline layers, and awe-inspiring vertical shaft. It’s a must-do for advanced divers.

After The Pit, we move to Dos Ojos (“Two Eyes”), one of the most visited cenote systems in Mexico, known for its two distinct dive lines: the Barbie Line and the Bat Cave.

  • The Barbie Line is a relaxed, scenic dive with impressive rock formations, light effects, and wide-open spaces ideal for appreciating stalactites and stalagmites.
  • The Bat Cave Line is a bit darker and more mysterious, leading into a dome filled with bats above the surface and air pockets where you can surface briefly and look around. The formations and sense of discovery are truly unique.

Both lines are cavern dives (not full cave dives), and are always guided by certified cavern instructors.
