Dive with thousend of stalactites and breathtaking columns at the spectacular Cenote Dreamgate. This was a filming location for the amazing series “Caves” episode of the BBC Planet Earth documentary series. This cenote has a very large cavern zone. It is one of the most highly decorated in the area, with an abundance of formations. We take this dive very slowly so we can fully appreciate this unique places. There is an air dome in the center of the cavern zone that is sure to amaze you. The cenote has two different cavern lines — one is downstream and the other is upstream. Great diving skills are a requirement to go on this dive, particularly excellent buoyancy control, as the formations in Dreamgate are very fragile. We ask our divers to please stay close to the line and to our cave diving guide. We need to stay at a safe distance to avoid any damage to this amazing natural wonder.
